Dear Patient,

Please be aware of the following:

Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 72 hours (weekends or excluded) If prescriptions are requested on a Friday, they will not be processed until Wednesday, if requested on a Thursday, they will not be processed until Monday and so on.

Counterfoil

If you do not tick all the boxes on your counterfoil repeat prescription request, you will NOT be issued that medication.

Non Regular Medication

This will need to be authorised by a clinician before being raised by a prescription clerk.

Acute Medication regularly used

This medication must be requested monthly as this cannot be placed on a counterfoil prescription request.

No Medication request will be taken verbally

Please do not ask as refusal often offends.

Urgent medication requested on the day

Patients will need to attend the surgery to collect around 16:00.

Prescription Queries

Between 11:00 and 15:00.

Requesting Medication

This is the patient’s own responsibility prescriptions must be collected from the surgery within 28 days of issuing failure to do this will result in the prescription being destroyed.
