NCMG registration and home visit policy
We would like to inform patients that registration at North Clacton Medical Group (NCMG) is currently open. As we operate under a policy of patient choice, we do not enforce a specific catchment area.
However, please note the following important information regarding home visits:
- Home visits are not part of our core contractual obligations and are provided at the discretion of our clinical team, based on clinical need.
- We are unable to offer home visits to addresses located more than 5 miles from the surgery premises.
- If you are housebound or have poor mobility, then please consider registering at a surgery nearer.
We kindly ask prospective patients to consider this when choosing to register with NCMG.

Registering with the surgery
To register with the surgery:
- use the NHS register with a GP surgery: North Clacton Medical Group service
When you register, it’s helpful to have your NHS number. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.
