Prescriptions

Please see the Prescriptions Update for information on some recent changes to our process.

Patients please be aware that prescription request is the individual’s responsibility. Prescriptions take 72 hours to process whether you request online, drop off your repeat request to the surgery or email.

We are unable to accept verbal prescription request as these may lead to errors due to staff not clearly understanding a patient’s request. Please ensure that you do not run out of any medication and you allow the 72 hours needed to process your prescription.

We are able to accept Prescriptions in one of the following ways:

  • Online
  • Dropping a repeat list into the practice
  • Post
  • Fax (The Branch site 01255 224617, or Main site 01255 223169)

Managed Repeat Prescriptions

Managed Repeat Prescriptions are no longer be available through a pharmacy for most patients.

The only exceptions to this are housebound / vulnerable patients, who will for a short time be able to continue to use the pharmacy service.

All other Patients or their carers will now need to order their own repeat medicines.

You can of course still ask the pharmacy to collect your repeat prescription from the practice and deliver to you.

If you have any concerns or want more information regarding the change, please do not hesitate to speak to a receptionist
